Kisê-pîsim means Great Moon. This is to represent our high level of respect for our Indigenous Women, caretakers of the water and sacred givers of life. She is giving thanks to Grandmother Moon.

PEE – like pee
sim – like sim in simple
So together: kee-say PEE-sim, means Great Moon.
